Election Services Online
Election Services Online, (ESO) was formed in January 2008 with the goal of assuming the support and maintenance contracts for the touch screens manufactured by AVS.
Advanced Voting Solutions (AVS) of Frisco, Texas, originally provided this service until it ceased operations at the end of 2007. We have been servicing over 30 touchscreen accounts in Virginia and most recently growing our client base with Unisyn OpenElect digital scanner product line.

Unisyn Voting Solutions, Inc.
Is a wholly owned subsidiary of International Lottery & Totalizer Systems, Inc. (ILTS). The Unisyn voting system solution brings security, operational excellence, and real-time transaction processing expertise inherited the secure gaming industry system error free operation over the last 29 years.
Unisyn initially entered the election industry in 2005 with the custom development and installation of the Ink A Vote Plus voting system in Los Angeles County, California. The system is still operating today supported by Unisyn. Los Angeles County has in excess of 5,000 precincts and over four million registered voters and is the largest county in the United States.
From the successful experience in Los Angeles County Unisyn embarked on the development of an Open Source 2005 compliant digital based optical scan system in 2008 named the OpenElect suite of products. Unisyn’s OpenElect suite of digital optical scanner products, are certified to the 2005 Voluntary Voting System Guidelines set forth by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). The suite of products, also certified in the Commonwealth of Virginia, include the following: Absentee Ballot System (OVO and OVCS), the Election Day Voting System (OVO) and the ADA Compliant Walk-in Early Voting System (OVI and OVI VC) along with Unisyn Election Management System (OCS).
Unisyn claims two firsts in the election industry – first digital optical scan system to become certified to the 2005 standards by the EAC and the first system certified to the 2005 standards in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Unisyn’s growth has been rapid as illustrated by being certified in 9 States and three States pending with over 135 county users. Several hundred elections have been successfully completed using the Unisyn OpenElect system since late 2011.
